Hong Kong Has A Halloween- And Doraemon-Themed Restaurant

Ocean Park, a marine mammal park in Hong Kong, is creating an entire restaurant dedicated to Halloween and Doraemon, a popular Japanese robotic cartoon cat (who time travels. It's complicated).

From now until October 31, Ocean Park's Neptune's Restaurant will trade its regular décor of aquatic "international dining experience" for the look of "Asia's first-ever Doraemon-themed Halloween attraction."

In addition to being greeted by a Doraemon mascot, families will be able to choose from one of four "Doraemon-inspired dining experiences, including the Doraemon X Ocean Park Halloween Fest Set Menu, which includes Canadian Lobster Salad with Mango and Cucumber and Broiled Angus Beef Tenderloin.

"Many of us have grown up with Doraemon comics, much like we have with Ocean Park. We are delighted and honoured to have the opportunity to host Doraemon's first-ever Halloween themed party in Asia; and to create a great range of gourmet menu items inspired by such a beloved character," said Nick Lee, Senior Food and Beverage Operations Manager of Ocean Park.
