PepsiCo Launches Lay's Poppables

PepsiCo Inc.'s Frito-Lay division rolled out its newest product, and according to the company, it's not your average potato chip. Poppables, a "multi-dimensional" potato puff, has officially launched and is now available at retailers nationwide.

To celebrate the launch of Poppables (and fully take advantage of the play on words), the brand turned to actor, creative director, and choreographer Beau "Casper" Smart to share some pop dance moves at an exclusive event at Dylan's Candy Bar in New York City, according to the press release.

Poppables come in two flavors, White Cheddar and Sea Salt, which are available in 5-ounce bags for a suggested retail price of $3.29 each and 2-ounce bags for a suggested retail price of $1.69.

To add to the theme of "pop-worthy" moments, the company says it has also teamed up with The Color Run to sponsor the 5K race in over 40 cities across the United States, according to the Poppables website.
