This Hotel Chain Is Transforming Chic Suites Into Tattoo Parlors With The World's Top Artists

W Hotels in New York City are expanding their amenities to include not casino or valet parking, but a high-end tattoo parlor with the In-House Tattoo Artist Series, which will host a prominent tattoo artist at each hotel and transform a suite to reflect each artist's style.

"While we showcase artists on a quarterly basis, this will be the first time that we have a tattoo artist in house," Tanya De Costa, marketing manager at W New York Union Square, said in a statement. "We're excited to be connected to these bold, creative talents in a realm that's a first for us."

— Tuki Carter (Times Square location from May 28 to June 3), best known for his portraiture work and clientele including Usher, Young Geezy, and other celebrities.
— Chris Garver (Union Square location from July 3 to July 10), who specializes in Japanese and black and gray tattooing and was featured on TLC's Miami Ink.
— Sara Fabel (Downtown location from August 20 to August 27), a tattoo artist, former model, and actress who works solely with black ink.
— Jack Rudy (Flagship location starting September 4), a jack-of-all-trades who has 40 years of experience in fine-line black-and-gray tattooing, single-needle use, and realistic portraits.

Rates will start at $500 to $1,600 per hour.

If you're not looking for any permanent artwork, limited-edition temporary tattoos will also be available for guests, along with artist-inspired cocktails created by Espolòn tequila.
