Hardee's Introduces All-Natural, Grass-Fed Burger To Menu

Hardee's is going natural with this grass-fed burger.

This is the same burger that was brought to Hardee's sister chain, Carl's Jr., back in December 2014.

The beef in the burger is grass-fed and free-range and contains no added hormones, antibiotics, or steroids. Toppings include Cheddar cheese, tomatoes, red onion, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and dill pickles.

Brad Haley, chief marketing officer of Carl's Jr. and Hardee's, said in a statement that he and his team wanted to bring the All-Natural Burger to Hardee's when they saw how successful it was at Carl's Jr. "It seemed to bring in or, perhaps more accurately, bring back consumers who had given up fast food because they simply couldn't get food like this there so, obviously, we wanted to introduce the All-Natural Burger at our sister-chain, Hardee's, as soon as we could," Haley said.

Carl's Jr. is also adding a new all-natural burger with mushroom and Swiss cheese. It will cost $5.39 for a single burger and $7.89 for a double. The Hardee's burgers are $4.49 for a single and $6.99 for a double. Guests are welcome to request the all-natural patties on any other burger on the menu.
