'Eat This, Not That!' Series Will Become 120-Page Quarterly Magazine

"Eat This, Not That!" started out a decade ago as a column in Men's Health, grew into a series of popular books, and will now make its way into the magazine business, reports The New York Times.

The Meredith Corporation, a media publisher responsible for titles like Family Circle, Better Homes and Gardens, and Parents magazine, will debut Eat This, Not That! as a quarterly magazine to be sold at 80,000 newsstands and other locations across the country on Tuesday, December 2.

Like its predecessor, the magazine will feature content about which products consumers should buy and how to get the best benefits from their food — an area of interest for consumers and advertisers alike.

Former Men's Health editor in chief David Zinczenko, who began writing the column in 2004, told The New York Times, "It's literally about what products to buy. We think there will be a lot of consumer demand for this."
