Dim Sum And Street Fighter II At Joseph Leonard This Weekend

This weekend, October 25 and 26, Joseph Leonard on Waverly Place in New York City will host its fourth annual weekend-long Dim Sum Brunch.

The modern French-American kitchen will  step out of character to continue a tradition started by the restaurants sous chefs some years back, and dim sum lovers are encouraged to stop by between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for a special Chinese-inspired menu takeover of Joseph Leonard's brunch menu.

The dim sum-inspired menu will include specialties like short rib dumplings, fried chicken bao with pickles, Kewpie mayo, wasabi honey, broccoli beef, sesame noodles, plus special cocktails including a Kimchee Bloody Mary. Other dishes will include chorizo wontons with fermented black beans and avocado pureé and a smoked salmon and scallion pancake with poached egg, wasabi cream, and aged soy sauce.

To round out the special weekend, Joseph Leonard will bring out the video game Street Fighter II.

No reservations are necessary.
