“BRONWYN is a restaurant and bar located in Union Square, Somerville, MA, featuring the cuisine of Central and Eastern Europe.” Is the opening statement on the restaurant site, but if you live in Boston and haven’t visited the restaurant yet, you have more of a reason to get over there this summer! They just opened their beer garden and it is one of the best things we have seen. Ever.
Brick and greenery, giving it a summery feeling that is perfect for new or old friends to eat, drink, and be merry, surround the wooden patio. The full menu is available outside (and inside). And of course, what is a beer garden without an extensive beer menu? The beer options range from countries across the world like Poland and Germany. The space also has a pit smoker where the restaurant makes sausages (kudos to you if you can eat sausage after seeing it made before your eyes).
Just kidding it’s probably great. But keep in mind the menu also offers asparagus gingerbread salad, pierogi, and smoked soft-shell crab.
Bronwyn's biergarten is open 5pm to 10:30pm, every night except Monday.
