This year's winner of Thrillist's Search for America's Best Bloody Mary was from Louisiana, created by Kristin Alfandre. Her Bloody Mary used a beef stick as a straw and had a bacon garnish. The Bloody Mary was selected as the winner by event-goers at New York City's Wine &Food Festival Absolut Bloody Mary Brunch as well as the cast of Food Network's Chopped.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 ounce absolut peppar
  • 1 pinch horseradish
  • 1 piece lime (squeeze)
  • 1 piece lemon (squeeze)
  • 2 dash of celery salt
  • 4 dash of tabasco
  • 4 dash of worcestershire
  • 4 ounce bloody mary mix
  • 1 garnish bacon
  • 1 garnish celery
  • 1 garnish pickled okra
  • 1 garnish cocktail onions
  • 1 garnish spicy green bean
Directions
  1. At Mason's Grill we let you build your own Bloody Mason! You get to pick all of your ingredients, spice level, and garnish. For this version... Fill your shaker with ice, add vodka first, and then all ingredients (except for garnish). Shake 3-4 times. Grab your favorite glass — our favorite is a mason jar (guess why?!) and dip the rim of the glass in Chipotle Tabasco then dip in sea salt. Fill the mason jar with the contents of your shaker and garnish with your favorite vegetables — we love pickled okra, celery, cocktail onions, and spicy green beans. Finish it off right with a crispy strip of bacon and a beef straw! DELICIOUS!
