The Marriage of Red Meat and Peanut Butter
Recipe of the day
Long ago, on a crunchy February evening, Peanut Butter stopped into a local juice bar for a protein boost on the way home from the gym. Right away, he noticed Red Meat standing in line. Red Meat was a beefy straphanger from the other side of town, not someone that Peanut Butter normally hung around with. Peanut Butter stuck with jelly and fruit on the east side, for no reason but because that’s the way it’s always been.
There in that juice bar, though, the tension was palpable. Peanut Butter had long admired Red Meat and was about to make a smooth move.
"Excuse me, but has anyone ever told you how well done you are?" asked Peanut Butter.
"Rarely," said Red Meat, its cheeks turning pink.
And, as they say, the rest was history…
