INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ounce tequila
  • 1/2 ounce triple sec
  • 3 ounces apple cider
  • 1/4 ounce lime juice
  • 1/4 ounce gingerbread syrup
  • Gingersnap cookies to garnish

DIRECTIONS

For the garnish, use ginger snap cookies cut from the center to the edge so they can be slipped over the rim of the glass or ground gingerbread crumbs. If using the crumbs, rub a lime slice around the mouth of the glass. Press the mouth of the glass into a plate filled with gingerbread crumbs to coat.
(If using the whole cookies as garnish, as pictured, garnish after the glass is filled.)

Stir the liquid ingredients together and pour over ice in a tall glass, or shake the ingredients with ice and pour in a traditional margarita glass.
