Eat Like Super Bowl Halftime Performer Lady Gaga With These 5 Foods

Who doesn't want to be like Lady Gaga? The glamorous "Perfect Illusion" singer has risen from grimy New York City clubs to playing arenas to millions of adoring fans around the world with her infectious brand of pop music. On Feb. 5, Gaga will join the likes of Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Katy Perry by performing at the Super Bowl LI halftime show, and it's sure to be a spectacle.

While becoming the next Lady Gaga is next to impossible, eating like the 30-year-old singer isn't particularly difficult. The proud Italian-American singer is the daughter of a restauranteur, so all you have to do is find some solid, authentic pasta and Italian dishes and you're basically already eating Gaga's favorite dishes.

If that isn't enough, try these five foods, which are documented as being some of the Mother Monster's favorites:

Gaga Cocktail
Lady Gaga's father Joe Germanotta opened his restaurant Joanna Trattoria in New York City's Upper West Side in 2012. Expectedly, the proud father flaunts his daughter with a few menu items named after the pop star, including "The Gaga." Featuring vodka, ginger ale, apple juice, and grapefruit juice, this drink is as tart and sweet as Gaga herself.

Gravy
In the foreword for her father's cookbook, Joanne Trattoria Cookbook: Classic Recipes and Scenes from an Italian-American Restaurant, Lady Gaga wrote that the smell of freshly made gravy is one of the fondest memories from her childhood. Making gravy may seem intimidating, but it's shockingly easy. And Gaga is right: The smell is something you'll love and never be able to forget

Irish Whiskey
In 2012, Lady Gaga credited Irish whiskey with helping her songwriting process. "I have made so much of my music with Jameson. I'm not being paid a cent to advertise the whiskey... I should be. The whiskey has made my new songs," she said during a concert in Ireland. If you don't want to down Irish whiskey straight like Gaga does, try your hand at making desserts with it.

Peach Cobbler
Peach cobbler is reportedly Lady Gaga's favorite food, and she's claimed a friend wanted to "sabotage" her diet backstage at one of her concerts by leaving one of these delicious desserts. This peach cobbler is perfect for little monsters, featuring a few tablespoons of brandy for an extra kick.

Turkey Sandwiches
Most pop stars have massive backstage riders, but according to an interview with MTV in 2014, Lady Gaga keeps it simple with a veggie tray, deli tray, whiskey (of course), and Champagne. So just throw some deli turkey on a roll and then you're eating just like the Mother Monster does.
