Create A Winter "One"derland Dessert Table

Here is a Winter "One"derland dessert table that I styled for a local winner of a Facebook contest. However, this winter theme can be used for any age or wintry occasion.

My go to baker, Liz of Lizzy's Sweets n' Treats, created the igloo smash cake even better than I had envisioned!

My favorites were the fondant penguins that Lizzy's Sweets n' Treats made. The fondant toppers totally change plain cupcakes into something very unique, festive, and special.

I love making a huge picture of the birthday child. It's so easy to do and puts all of the attention where it's due. All you need to do is just take your favorite photo and have it enlarged at any photo location. I spruced up this IKEA frame with snowflakes to tie into the theme.

Drape a stark white backdrop for a wintry look. As for the table, create the snowy tablescape with cotton sheets that are usually used for winter villages during the holidays. They fluff up when pulled and you can sprinkle irridescant "snow" flakes on it to make it shimmer. Set the rest of the table with snowy treats like frosted cookies, cereals, cupcakes, and cake pops.
