This Is The Easiest Summer Meal You Can Cook

There are no excuses not to eat healthy this summer; this light and delicious meal is ready in 5 minutes and only requires a handful of ingredients.

Start by putting a few wooden skewers into a glass of water to soak. Then, while the skewers are soaking, prepare a simple salad by tossing mixed greens and your favorite oil-based salad dressing. Then, set the salad aside.

Next, toss the shrimp in barbecue sauce that has been thinned out with a little bit of olive oil. 2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce mixed with 1 tablespoon of olive oil should be enough to coat about a pound of shrimp. Then, thread the shrimp onto the wooden skewers, leaving a little space in between each of the shrimp. Place the shrimp on your grill (or in a cast-iron grill pan) and cook them for 1-2 minutes per side, until opaque.

Then, serve the shrimp on top of the greens for a simple and delicious meal.
