Child Steals Halloween Candy At Knifepoint

Halloween is a day when children can get all the free candy they can carry just by going from door to door and asking people for it, but that wasn't enough for one boy, who allegedly started robbing other children of their candy at knifepoint yesterday.

According to The Local, an 11-year-old boy in Austria decided that his honestly acquired Halloween candy was not enough for him, and he allegedly pulled a knife on some other children and demanded they hand over their candy. The other children, a pair of 11- and 12-year-old girls and a 14-year-old boy, were able to run away without injury and promptly told their parents. The parents called the police and reported the incident, and it took no time to track down the culprit, because one of the victims knew him.

The 11-year-old candy robber reportedly confessed to the crime when police questioned him, but since 14 is the minimum age to be considered responsible for a crime in Austria, his case has reportedly been turned over to the Youth Office to deal with.
