Beyond Starbucks: The 10 Best And Worst Pumpkin Spice Products Slideshow

BEST: Jack's Pumpkin Spice Ale

Nothing  complements good beer better than a hearty (but not over-the-top) dash of nutmeg and cloves-seasoning. We suggest starting with Jack's from Anheuser-Busch, but then heading over to more a more complex (and less sweet) seasonal beer like Dogfish Head.

BEST: Pumpkin Spice Oreos

Rumors abound that Oreo's newest crazy and wacky flavor will be pumpkin spice. We can't confirm for sure that this cookie will be a thing, but you should definitely be on the lookout. The Oreo cookie cream could definitely stand up to the comforting flavor of pumpkin spice and we can't wait for an official announcement.

BEST: Pumpkin Spice Eggo Waffles

The elusive pumpkin spice waffle is becoming ever more difficult to find, but it's basically the grown-up version of the popular Eggo cinnamon waffles. Be on the lookout!

BEST: Pumpkin Ghirardelli Squares

Ghirardelli squares are known for their smooth and creamy fillings like caramel, truffle fudge and mint, so it shouldn't be a surprise that they also carry pumpkin spice for this time of year. And who can say no to pumpkin and chocolate together in one little square?

BEST: Entenmann’s Pumpkin Loaf Cake

Even though Entenmann's often gets flack for dumping chemistry sets into its products, this pumpkin loaf cake actually has real pumpkin in it, and we challenge you to not finish it in one sitting.

WORST: Pringles Pumpkin Pie Spice

Some things should just not be pumpkin spice-flavored. Pizza Pringles? Sure. Sour cream and onion? Please hand them over. But salty chips and nutmeg-clove really do not mix well.

WORST: Pumpkin Spice Jell-O

With America sort of losing its taste for the wobbly, flavored gelatin, we knew they would try to mix it up. But pumpkin spice won't make us appreciate the wiggle more.

WORST: Country Crock Pumpkin Spice

It's not so much that this product is bad, it's just that it's sort of unnecessary. Why not add your own fall-inspired ingredients to your baking, instead of slathering on more artificial flavoring?

WORST: Jif Whips Pumpkin Pie Spice

Please, just leave our peanut butter alone... unless it comes with chocolate. In which case, go right ahead.

WORST: Thomas’ English Muffins

As probably the least appealing product of the bunch, we can't for the life of us understand why the common English muffin would need to be jazzed up Starbucks-style.
