Best Baseball Stadiums For Craft Beer Around The Country (Slideshow)

#14: Coors Field, Denver

Home Team: Colorado Rockies

Don't let the name of the stadium fool you. Since it's located in one of the country's greatest beer cities, the stadium needs to offer up some craft beer options. Local beers that are not made by Coors are served up at stands all around the stadium. Rockies fans can enjoy brews from Colorado's own New Belgium, Breckenridge, Oskar Blues, and Odells breweries as well as Samuel Adams. Coors has also been running their own small brewery called the SandLot within the stadium, where they brew Blue Moon and its many varieties. But we suggest sticking to those local craft beers.

#13: Progressive Field, Cleveland

Home Team: Cleveland Indians

The Indians can boast a new partnership with the likes of the New Belgium Brewing Company (makers of the amazing Fat Tire), and Great Lakes Brewing Co (who can boast the killer Great Lakes Eliot Ness). This season is looking up – the stadium lowered its (previously pretty exorbitant) concession stand prices last year, and also offers ultra-cheap PBRs, just in case.

#12: Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles

While the Dodgers used to have an extremely limited – and dull – beer selection, this past year they've seen a dramatic improvement, and we'll praise the achievement. Dodger Stadium is now incorporating craft beers into their mix, and to their credit, they're emphasizing the local: two L.A.-based breweries, Golden Road Brewing and Fireman's Brew, among other craft breweries, are now available at the historic ballpark.

#11: Citi Field, Flushing, N.Y.

Home Team: New York Mets

Unlike their neighbors in the Bronx (the Yankees), this New York team has managed to draw some local brews to the stadium. And having a nice, refreshing craft beer in your hand can definitely make watching the Mets a little easier. Sixpoint, Blue Point, Brooklyn Brewery, and Brewery Ommegang are among the New York beers reportedly found at different refreshment stands. But beer lovers will also be happy to find a few craft options from around the country, such as Abita, Widmer, and Goose Island.

#10: Comerica Park, Detroit

Home Team: Detroit Tigers

Michigan hosts some amazing breweries and fans of the Tigers can indulge in an impressive list of beers. Beers from breweries like Bell's Brewery, New Holland Brewing Company, Founders Brewing Co., Arbor Brewing Co., Atwater Brewery, Arcadia Ales, and Motor City Brewing Works are served on draft or in bottles all around the stadium, which is definitely something to cheer about.

#9: Camden Yards, Baltimore

Home Team: Baltimore Orioles

Referred to as a retro-classic ballpark, Camden Yards has been a highly praised baseball destination since it opened in 1992. But recently it's been getting press not only for its design, but also for its beer. The Orioles have tapped into local breweries to find beers their fans will love. Tap lines pour the likes of Heavy Seas Beer, Evolution Craft Brewing Co., Flying Dog Brewery, and Baltimore-Washington Beer Works. Beers from nearby Delaware, like Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Fordham Brewing Co., and Old Dominion Brewing Co. are also sold here. The park even has an on-site brewpub called Dempsey's House Brews.

#8: Petco Park, San Diego, Calif.

Home Team: San Diego Padres

Amid one of the biggest beer cities in America, Petco Park has to make their beer-loving fans happy. That's why Petco serves up an impressive list of California's most delicious beers from a bunch of brewing companies, including Stone, Green Flash, Ballast Point, Karl Strauss, AleSmith, Pyramid, Anderson Valley, Firestone Walker, Sierra Nevada, and Knee Deep Brewing. Alaskan Brewing, Rogue, Kona Brewing, and Widmer Brothers join that impressive list sure to make any beer lover drunk.

#7: PNC Park, Pittsburgh

Home Team: Pittsburgh Pirates

Pirates fans deserve some love — and some good beer. The gorgeous stadium features impressive views of the city and the Allegheny River, but it also has really good beer from Pennsylvania's own Church Brew Works, Victory Brewing, East End Brewing, Penn Brewing, Tröegs Brewing, and Erie Brewing. Add to that Harpoon Brewery, Samuel Adams, Brooklyn Brewery, Dogfish Head Brewing, 21st Amendment Brewery, Flying Dog Brewing, Heavy Seas Beer, Lagunitas Brewing, Stone Brewing, Bell's Brewery, and Anchor Brewing and you're in for a good time, win or lose.

#6: Citizens Bank Field, Philadelphia

Home Team: Philadelphia Phillies

It comes as no surprise that two Pennsylvania cities (the only two with major league teams) made it into the top five. The state is well represented by a number of great breweries and both stadiums felt it only right to serve that amazing beer. At Citizens Bank, Phillies fans drink beer from Tröegs Brewing, Victory Brewing, Flying Fish (in nearby New Jersey), Sly Fox, Yards Brewery, Prism Brewing, and Philadelphia Brewing. The list continues with several out-of-state breweries, like Goose Island, Long Trail, Otter Creek, Allagash, Anchor, Dogfish Head, Lagunitas, Ommegang, Samuel Adams, 21st Amendment, Oskar Blues, and Sierra Nevada.

#5: Nationals Park, Washington, D.C.

Home Team: Washington Nationals

Last year, when Nationals Park started selling craft brews, they had a great selection – everything from Dogfish Head 60 Minute to Flying Dog Snake Dog. Sadly, however, they'd neglected to add any of the amazing locally-brewed beer. But a few months in, the stadium wised up and incorporated some great local brews into the mix. Now they're offering DC Brau, Mad Fox, 3 Stars, and Port City. And The District scores a run!

#4: AT&T Park, San Francisco

Home Team: San Francisco Giants

The home to the reigning World Series Champions should also win some sort of prize for their amazing beer selection. Of course, being smack in the middle of the Bay Area, a great region for beer, gives the ballpark a lot to choose from. Local breweries like Lost Abbey, High Water Brewing, Anchor Brewing, Marin Brewing, Sierra Nevada, Drake's Brewing, Lagunitas, Ballast Point, Russian River, North Coast, 21st Amendment, and AleSmith are served alongside brews from Victory Brewing, Stillwater Ales, Avery Brewing, Blind Pig Brewery, and Jolly Pumpkin Brewery.

#3: Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati

Home Team: Cincinnati Reds

Home to the Cincinnati Reds, America's first professional baseball team, Great American Ballpark now offers a wide and fantastic selection of craft beer. You can order a Bell's Two Hearted, a Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Sumpin, a Fat Tire (on tap!), or one of the dozens of other great brews they offer. The stadium is located right on the Ohio River, so you can enjoy your beer, the game, a great view of the river, and the great state of Kentucky just on the other side!

#2: Miller Park, Milwaukee

Home Team: Milwaukee Brewers

Milwaukee is another beer city (they even have a baseball team named for brewers!) stuck with a ballpark named after less-than-stellar beer. But Milwaukee's baseball fans are sipping better beer than you might think. Local breweries are represented all around this ballpark, and those breweries include Lakefront Brewery, Milwaukee Brewing Company, Sprecher Brewery, and Horny Goat Brewing Company. But probably the most popular local brewery found at Miller Park is New Glarus, a brewery with a cult following both regionally and across the country.

#1: Safeco Field, Seattle

Home Team: Seattle Mariners

All of the ballparks on this list have an impressive list of beers to serve to their fans, but Safeco definitely takes the cake. The ballpark is actually known nationally for its reputation as a good place to watch baseball and drink good beer. They feature both locals and national breweries — and there's a long list of them, including Alaskan Brewing, Big Sky Brewery, Boulevard Brewing, BridgePort Brewing, Deschutes Brewing, Diamond Knot Craft Brewing, Dick's Brewing, Elysian Brewing, Firestone Walker, Fremont Brewing, Full Sail Brewing, Harmon Brewing, Mac & Jack's Brewery, Georgetown Brewing, New Belgium Brewery, Ninkasi Brewing, Pyramid Brewing, Red Hook, Sierra Nevada, Skagit River Brewery, Snoqualmie Falls Brewing, and Widmer Brothers. Phew — take a breath!
