Never is a strong word. Most nutritionists would probably balk at declaring any food as something you should never eat. But there are certainly foods that athletes should eat less of if they're looking to maximize their performance on game day. And, as much as it may be hard to swallow, they're really foods that everyone should probably eat less of.
