5 Best Trader Joe's Desserts

If you know me at all, you know I have a deep love for Trader Joe's. You also know about my sweet tooth; thus, you can imagine how thrilled I am to try a new TJ's dessert each time I go grocery shopping. I've had a good amount of TJ's desserts but have managed to narrow down my favorite 5. Here's a little bit of insight into my delicious discoveries so far.

1. Ruggedly Adventuresome Cowboy Bark

This treat is full of flavor and surprises. Pretzel, toffee, peanuts, almonds and Joe Joe cookies are melted into a dark chocolate bar that is Trader Joe's Cowboy Bark. After a hard test or doing some exercise, I like rewarding myself with a piece of Cowboy Bark.

2. Cookie Thins: Meyer Lemon Flavor

These surprisingly delicious cookie thins are made with all-natural ingredients–including lemon and butter–that melt on your tongue almost immediately. I like breaking these out after a big meal so I can still get my sweet fix without feeling overloaded. Plus, if it's 2am and you have the drunchies, binge-eating these is a tasty decision you won't regret.

3. Chocolate Lava Cake

This lava cake is one dessert I'm okay with feeling guilty about eating. I'll admit that I've made the not-so-healthy decision of eating one of these babies completely by myself, but I recommend sharing it. Particularly with someone whom you can take the last bite from and not feel bad about it. What can I say? These are THAT. GOOD.

4. Roasted Coconut Chips

These are a bit larger than a piece of shredded coconut and are perfect for snacking. They look and crunch like a regular chip except they're mildly sweet and much healthier. They're a coconut-lover's favorite snack and a great addition to trail mix for an extra kick of sweetness.

5. Almond Clusters

I know I've mentioned these delicious creations before but they're just too good not to mention again. The chocolate is just enough to cure any sweet tooth and the almonds give you that satisfying crunch. The clusters are decently sized, so just one usually does the trick.

If you can believe it, TJ's has even more desserts to choose from besides these 5; however, I guarantee these are some of the best of the bunch. Enjoy!
