4th Of July Celebrations In Los Angeles

Fourth of July means patriotic flag waiving, barbecues, and fireworks. Here are some places to celebrate this Independence Day in the LA area:

Café Del Rey

On Friday, July 4th, from 5:00pm -11:30pm, the iconic waterfront dining destination Café Del Rey and Executive Chef Chuck Abair will curate an all-American feast to pair with panoramic views of the holiday fireworks in Marina del Rey. Fireworks begin at 8:45pm.

The Churchill

The Churchill is bringing their own twist to 4th of July fare with an old school soft shell crab and shrimp boil kicked up with Old Bay seasoning. The special dish includes Maryland soft shells, tiger prawns, sweet corn, potatoes, English peas, chorizo, and lemon.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

The brand gets patriotic this 4th of July with limited edition "Sweet Liberty" cookies available from Tuesday, July 1 – Friday, July 4, 2014. The festive red, white, and blue cookies light up any holiday BBQ and are available for pre-order and in stores. In addition to the "Sweet Liberty" cookies, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf pays tribute to U.S. troops, veterans, and their families by reintroducing the limited edition Support at Home coffee and tea blends.The specialty retailer has renewed their partnership with Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization that provides emergency financial assistance and other support to families of service members and wounded warriors, to give back through the sales of the exclusive Support At Home coffee and tea blends. 

The Hudson

On July 4th, The Hudson diners can enjoy a  Bourbon Basted BBQ Chicken with a side of smoked ham hock baked beans, jalapeño cornbread, chipotle honey butter and a watermelon slice. To wash it down they've created The 1776, a summer inspired cocktail with vodka, fresh strawberry, lemon juice, basil, and prosecco.

Lock & Key Bar

Chef Nigel Henderson is partnering with Lock & Key bar for a series of pop-ups including hosting a patriotic pig roast on Sunday, July 6th.

Rivabella

West Hollywood's Tuscan-inspired dining hotspot Rivabella and Executive Chef Luigi Fineo will offer an adult-friendly version of their new tableside dessert—Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream—for the month of July. Featuring Bailey's infused vanilla ice cream, the treat is topped with Frangelico, Chambord, and toasted hazelnuts.

Superba Food & Bread

Superba Food & Bread, the third concept restaurant under Paul Hibler's American Gonzo Food Corporation, serves handcrafted comfort foods with eclectic ethnic influences. In honor of 4rth of July, Head Baker Jonathan Eng will be creating hot dog and hamburger buns for guests to purchase for their July 4th barbecues.
