Put bacon on a shoe and it may possibly be tasty. Put bacon on swollen, juicy diver scallops and you'll want to spit that bacon shoe out of your mouth. The gently seared scallops are topped with crispy, smoky squares of sweet bacon, contrasting textures and complementing rich flavors.

Foursquare Tips

  • Simple clean flavors in the daily menu. Try a small bite paired with a glass of wine or market fresh cocktail. Both the Spicy Tuna Tacos and Spinach & Feta Dip are delicious.
  • Be warned! I was recently a victim of assault and battery in their bar area. The managers were unapologetic and completely unprofessional. Downhill in management, food service, and quality! Unsafe!
  • Place is surprisingly good! Corn soup is good ( a little sweet). Seared Tuna is great! Great private room in the back. Can't wait to go back.
  • High end dining, good if your looking for an upscale experience
  • Good. Not great. Little overpriced.
  • Live music ended in 2011, when Marina del Rey ordered restaurants to pay for a permit -- even for just 1 guy on classical guitar. Way to go, bureaucrats.
  • Right on the water in the Marina. A lovely place with upscale food, good service, and a great view. Good light for pictures inside and you can go for a photo walk afterwards. Nice bar.
  • For lunch try the lamb burger. Also bring cash to tip the valet - valet parking required.
  • Free corkage Sundays and Mondays through the end of the year!!! (Limit 2 bottles per table, excluding holidays and private dining).
  • Live jazz Thursday - Saturday in the lounge and a terrific Happy Hour
  • Fancy, pricy, tasty. Totally worth it!
  • Linguine lobster was bland tasting - disappointing. Try the halibut instead. Overall a bit pretentiousness and over priced.
  • Great brunch! $35 for 3 courses and bottomless Mimosa's. Great food. Try the crab cakes, asparagus salad and eggs Benedict's.
  • Chef Daniel Roberts, a New York transplant, has been working the kitchens of California since 2001. Chef and the Taste Terminal team ventured onto a chartered sportfishing boat and caught some dinner.
  • Great views and good menu but slow service and very weak cocktails. Stick to wine/champagne or beer
  • Try their prix-fixe X-mas feast which includes Kumamoto oyster or mushroom agnolotti,to name a few options.Consider Sonoma rack of lamb for your 2nd course & for dessert, try the eggnog crme brle.

  • Always a great impression restaurant!! The first place I take out of town guests!
  • Check out happy hour at Cafe del Rey! There's live music thurs-sat nights and at sunday brunch! Speaking of which they have a $35 all you can drink 3course champagne brunch. Don't miss it!
  • If you like Applebees or TGI Fridays, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy tourists!
