Wow The Crowd With Popcorn Crunch

You'll be hosting a ton this summer, we're sure, so why not make an easy-to-make and crowd-pleasing recipe for your guests? Whether it's a night at home with the newest movie release or a party at the pool, popcorn is a sure hit for any occasion. A little sweet and a little salty with a whole lot of crunch, this popcorn recipe will be great all year round. Amy Sherman puts a fun twist on a traditional movie-theater favorite and she gave us a few pointers on the beloved treat.

Popcorn can be a caloric bomb loaded with fat and calories, however, this grab-and-go Popcorn Crunch packs the punch with a flavor of caramel and toasty nuts that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Sherman claims, "Sometimes the best recipes are happy accidents. I was trying to make a snack bar but over-toasted the mixture of honey, sugar, peanut butter, and popcorn."

Instead of grabbing for the tub of buttery popcorn, package your Popcorn Crunch in cellophane bag as a healthier alternative, and it provides the perfect portion size.

When made in the ActiFry, your sweet treat isn't popped in loads of saturated oils like concession stand popcorn.

Amy Sherman's Popcorn Crunch

1/4 sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup natural peanut butter
4 cups popcorn

Cook sugar and honey until sugar dissolves about 3 minutes. Add peanut butter, 1 tablespoon at a time, to prevent it from clumping together. Cook another 2 minutes then stir and cook another 2 minutes. Add popcorn, dispersing it evenly. Cook for 3 minutes then transfer to a greased sheet pan to cool.
