What We’re Loving: Oscar de la Renta’s Dominican Dinnerware

The Dominican designer brings his beloved style to the table

No one, especially fashion lovers, can deny that designer Oscar de la Renta’s style is full of flair. An import from the Dominican Republic, this impeccably sharp man knows how to incorporate his Latin roots into his runway looks, creating best-dressed celebrities and stunning brides year-round.

Now, the 80-year-old designer is making a change — he’s channeling his Dominican side more than ever, revamping his home line with a collection that will be representative of his native country with new prints, colors, and images.

The line will include dinnerware, lamps, games, frames, and other home décor items reflecting the designer’s life on the island. Check out this really neat addition — de la Renta is including a Latin staple in his collection: dominoes for those long games after dinner.
