  • As the world's largest cast-iron statue, Vulcan, the Roman god of the forge, is an iconic symbol of Birmingham offering beautiful panoramic views of the city.
  • Go to Vulcan between 6-10 PM and enjoy a panoramic night view of Birmingham.
  • The park is free to visit during the day if you don't want to visit the museum. Wifi access is free and fast, too. So this makes for a good spot to relax, enjoy the views, and get some work done.
  • Great place to see all downtown B'ham. It is a must if you have been!

  • Get up in the Vulcan for $6...$3 between 6pm til 10pm. The view is gorgeous. There"s also a museum and gift shop.
  • Watch for the moon over Homewood.
  • Honestly paying for the museum and to go to the top of the statue isnt really worth the $7. But the park is a nice stroll and has a great view of Birmingham. Good place for a picnic on a nice day.
