Covering a range of topics from food and farm labor to cottage food legislation, a lens into humane meat processing and making beneficial bugs, the ten finalists were selected from over 175 submissions featuring stories from our backyards to Belgium to British Columbia.
The 2015 contest invited a new crop of digital submissions of films under four minutes that tell unique stories about food, farming, and sustainability from around the country and the world. Diverse formats include documentary to advocacy, spoken word to the first animated submissions in honor of the 10th anniversary of the online movie, The Meatrix.
