Foursquare Tips

  • They've got a Scotch-/ pear brandy-/ lemon-/ double IPA-based shandy called the Roll Pin, which, while excellent, isn't quite as (Megan) Good as Roll Bounce.
  • Changed their name to Rhein Haus from Von Trapp's after the Trapp family (of Sound of Music fame) requested them to.
  • These things come in liters? Why yes the beer does.
  • Stiegl on 2/14/14 good and lite!
  • Service sucks even when it's empty
  • Bocce ball!
  • Put you name on the bocci list as soon as you walk in (at the back bar). Also, field roast brauts are awesome!
  • Most reviews say its busy and too packed, but this Monday night is just the right vibe: not too crowded but definitely a place to be.
  • Absolutely love this place! Sunday funday = fernet, beer, and bocce ball!
  • yummy!!!!!!
  • Have the Schofferhofer. You won't be disappointed
  • Busy but promising...
  • This place makes you feel being in Germany, you can enjoy some beer, pretzel, sausages and also play bocce ball. This place is huge so it's a good option if you are in large groups. Staff are great.
  • Amazing currywurst.
  • Good for large groups, a beer paradise!
  • Big place for a good time, definitely a younger crowd. Cheap drinks and bocce ball galore.
  • Fun, reasonably authentic German fare. The store brand Rheinhaus lager seems to cause more hangovers than the name brands. Feels like a set piece from the movie Beerfest.
  • Cool place to socialize over some good German beers
  • Wasn't impressed with environment or beer list but bocce is pretty awesome
  • I go here for the food. The schnitzel is top-notch and they have some interesting brunch options too.
