About Me

Emily Davis is a writer, chef, and passionate consumer of wine. She trained at the French Culinary Institute in New York City, writing copy for food and wine websites on the side to satisfy her journalistic itch. Following her culinary training, Emily divided her time between the wine department at Food & Wine magazine and the kitchen of Etsy.com’s Brooklyn headquarters, where she cooked a seasonal, locally sourced menu for the 100 plus person crew. Emily and her husband, Mike currently live in San Diego, where she runs the kitchen at We Olive La Jolla.
