Foursquare Tips

  • The complimentary sparkling water is a nice touch...
  • decent food, on the grid but nearly off the map
  • I love this place. The burger is supreme. The roast pork sandwich, divine. Duck confit eggs? Yes please. But the brioche? Just came as toast. Total disappointment.
  • Wine lovers rejoice- nothing but cool things on the list. See Aaron at the bar. Food is delicious too- a crepinette & some good dessert is a must.

  • Excellent selection of meat and cheese plates. Also sit in the garden in the back. Lovely.
  • Amazing place to have brunch on Sunday and then go to the pier for a walk. Friendly staff nice @atmosphere
  • To say his food is hearty and full-flavored doesn't begin to adequately describe how gutsy and aggressive it is. After you've enjoyed what Kuettel cooks for you, the walk will undoubtedly do you good
  • Seared scallops were simple and fresh. The cherry sundae and the banana bread with hazelnut ice cream were just heavenly.
  • Duck Necks were uniquely great appy. Pork loin was big, tender and juicy, with a great marinade. All three of us had different but great meals and the service was professional, relaxed and attentive.
  • The food is decent but the service is not that effective and not very friendly.
  • You have to experience their omelette - had the greenmarket which had amazing fresh ingredients. Mine had mushrooms, Rhubarb and cauliflower and goat cheese - yummy best omelette in a long long time.
  • Phenomenal duck breast. Solid cocktails. Really like that they chill the glasses as they build the drinks. New Brunswick oysters were yum. Steak tartar w quail egg to start (4 of 4 petals via Fondu)
  • Vacherin tastes like burnt pulpo if u ask me....
  • Heaven for wine lovers! For reds, opt for a Gamay (2009 Beaujolais was a great vintage) or Puffeney's pinot/poulsard blend. For a different white (aka nerd juice), opt for an oxidized savagnin.
  • Try the La Tur cheese if you like creamy pungent or the Tete de Moine swiss for a smooth mellow taste...both go great with the Austrian red wine...don't remember the name. Oysters were great.
  • Egg white omelet with goat cheese is a perfect brunch dish.
  • Everything was really well prepared! I was shocked I hadn't come here sooner. The foursquare rating doesn't do this place justice. You MUST try the popcorn at the bar!
  • the back garden, mixed nuts, olives, charcuterie + a bottle of wine = perfection
  • Not a bad thing on the menu. Get the pizokel then come back with a group of your fellow pork lovers for a whole roasted and stuffed suckling pig. Buenissmo!
