  • Bring your own bags! ;-)
  • Sunday afternoon/evening is the busiest time to come.
  • Two Buck Chuck. Charles Shaw wine for 2.99. The way to go.
  • Bring your own bags. Now 5 cents per bag under new DC law but if you bring your own, they give you 5 cents per bag!
  • Line from the door takes about 15 min.
  • If you like planting chips you will like these from TJs.
  • The Cabernet Sauvignon is the best Two Buck Chuck by a good measure. It's definitely worth picking up for an extra table wine on hand.

  • Eat small meals every 2-3 hours to stimulate your metabolism.
  • Not the best for raw ingredients but great for every day quick stuff.

  • Bring a friend and have him or her wait in line while you shop.
  • Don't come here on weekends.
  • Don't ever go on Sunday. Checkout line wrapping around entire store.
  • Be ready for the long lines...
