Foursquare Tips

  • I was bummed not to try the tapas, but they Bring out so many small plates with out ordering them - they ate amazing! Try them all :)
  • You can char your own soy-chilimarinated meats to perfection on tabletop burners, but not all the work is left to you; the steamed kimchi dumplings are delicate, plump and made in the kitchen.
  • Don't miss the flavorful braised dishes, like dweji kalbi jim, pork spareribs simmered in a sweet and spicy chile sauce.
  • So good! The staff is friendly, the food is amazing, and the interior is pretty nice, too. One of my new favorites!
  • AND their dessert menu is ridiculous. Who is actually going to pay $10 for shaved ice?
  • the japchae is made of dangmyeon!
  • I only tried the bar food (small plates) since I got there late. Food was decent, but not spectacular
  • Service was excellent! Hope they improve on food (see the other tip) and keep the place going in the neighborhood. Great to have Korean food nearby.
  • We love coming here for lunch. It may be dead, but the service is good and so is the food.
  • Ordering BBQ? Get at least one portion of the duck.
  • The only genuine korean restaurant south of Montrose. the bo ssam, soon dubu, sullung tang, bibim bop are particularly good.
  • For a respite from the chile heat, try cold dongchimi gooksoo, slippery noodles in a chilled, lightly vinegary beef broth:
  • As written about on Tasting Table: http://www.tastingtable.com/entry_detail/chicago/6948
  • Service is slow and forgetful. They forgot to bring kimchi! Wtf?? Make sure to ask for things because they may not bring it otherwise.
  • Delicious kbbq for a good price. Even the side dishes were great
  • You can cook at your table. Pork belly was my favorite meat- lots of flavor. Good for a big group to get different things and sample
  • What can I say...the appetizers were steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. Look over at the Asian table next to us....so much more food and different apps. Never recommend this place. I left offended
  • Try their Lychee Martini!
  • Great service, very good ventilation: important for BBQ!
  • Do not mix champagne and beef soup. What a rookie mistake.
