Toronto Make Lunch a Bit Tastier with the Tasty Thursdays Lunch Series

Free concerts and food from local vendors make Thursday lunch hour more entertaining

July 11 marks the start of the 2013 Tasty Thursdays lunch series at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto.

Each Thursday from now through August 29, food vendors and musical acts will gather in Nathan Phillips Square from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those who visit the events will be able try cuisine from all over the world while enjoying international music from local bands. The food ranges in flavors from Caribbean to Malaysian to Thai to Latin American to Indian to Mediterranean.

The food will come from local food vendors such as Hotbunzz, The Real Jerk, The Royal Elephant, The Food Dudes during the first half. Once August 8 hits, vendors will change and include restaurants such as Lone Star Texas Grill, Curbside Bliss Cupcakes, and Gourmet Gringos.

The music line up includes Café Cubano, a local Cuban band, Matuto, a Brazilian farró band, international singer-songwriter Belinda Brady, and many more.
