The Denver Art Museum is the lucky host to this world-exclusive event, featuring 250 works of jewelry and timepieces created by Cartier from 1900 through 1975. Fans of Henri Matisse will love visiting the Denver Art Museum for this limited-time exhibition. Fourteen famous artists’ works will be on display courtesy of the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. In addition to Matisse, you’ll see works by Andre Derain, Maurice de Vlaminck, Kees van Dongen, Albert Marquet, Raoul Dufy and Georges Braque. All of these artists come together to showcase their unique approach to modern art at the turn of the Twentieth Century. The small gallery is set up to encourage art lovers to sit and enjoy the work, with plush couches and colorful rugs adding to the comfort and approachability of these impressive works. The cost of this exhibition is included in the price of general admission.

You probably know Mark Mothersbaugh as the founding member of the hit 1980s band DEVO but you may not be as familiar with his impressive collection of art. He’s been a truly prolific artist over the years, with works ranging from sculpture to drawings, photographs, videos and even rugs. For this very special exhibition, the entire Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver has been converted into one large gallery to showcase all of these thought-provoking and fascinating works of art. This is the very first full retrospective featuring Mothersbaugh exclusively, covering his work from the 1970s through today. You’ll love his use of vivid color and his fascinating statements about society and his views on the world. Make sure to visit this very exciting exhibition while you can.
