Tom Hanks Plays Pop-Tarts Inventor
He stars as Bert Loomis in this clip (don't worry, it's a joke)
Tom Hanks of Forrest Gump fame showed up on the Late Show with David Letterman, and previewed a clip for his latest 11-part miniseries. Spoiler alert: It's about Bert Loomis, inventor of Pop-Tarts, and is a look at "an amazing aspect of what daily life in America has become because of this man."
Luckily, it's just a joke, although it would be interesting to see Pop-Tarts vs. Toaster Strudel with Tom Hanks thrown in (no, maybe just Tom Hanks). His new project is reportedly a comedy about college athletes instead, but watch below for fun anyway.
