Thom’s Bomb: Chorizo, queso fresco, corn salsa, chimichurri served with fresh Asiago toast and Parmesan cheese grits. I really liked how evenly distributed the ingredients were. Although the chorizo was meaty, it wasn’t too heavy. The corn salsa and chimichurri really brightened up the omelet. The Parmesan grits were the perfect amount of nutty and salty. And the toast, oh the toast! Fresh, soft, lightly toasted Asiago bread. My only complaint was that there wasn’t enough Asiago kick.
Home Fries: Seasoned and grilled red skin potatoes. Delicious! Lightly seasoned and perfectly grilled.
Hot Cakes: Soft, fluffy, and warm. Sweet without being over the top.
The service was great and our server did a good job at suggesting the tastiest choice. The dining room is filled with a unique style including vintage toasters, graffiti, and an old school diner feel. Toast is a pretty cool brunch spot serving up some amazing food without being over priced. If you haven’t experienced Toast, stop what you are doing and get there! They close at three so just be sure to get there earlier and expect to wait a short time to snag a seat.
