Be sure to carry a few mints for after you've eaten these garlic fries.

The Daily Meal's editors, contributors, and readers dig into some pretty great restaurants, festivals, and meals. There's not always enough time to give a full review of a restaurant or describe in depth why a place, its food, and the people who prepare it are noteworthy, so Snackshot of the Day does what photographs do best, rely on the image to do most of the talking.

Today's Snackshot is of Gilroy garlic fries fron AT&T Park in San Francisco. America's favorite pastime has long been associated with food, but it's mostly been limited to hot dogs, peanuts, and beer. But many stadiums around the league, especially AT&T Park, are now offering a plethora of gourmet options. Stadiums are taking cuisine from their cities and creating a ballpark food selection based on that. The garlic fries in San Francisco are a staple, and a must when visiting AT&T Park.
