If you want a drink with the view of Boston, you can't do better than the Top Of The Hub. Among th most popular items on the menu are whiskey cocktails which are strong, taste good, and are decently priced, and the desserts like the huge chocolate layer cake and geren tea ice cream. The minimum for eating at a window (view of the city) is $24 which isn't too hard to reach.

Foursquare Tips

  • Have a beer at the Top Of The Hub (Prudential Tower)
  • Given its view of the city, it's the obvious choice for watching July 4 fireworks. For $200, you can watch fireworks while eating a five-course meal (21 and over).
  • Comidas deliciosas e bem frequentado.
  • Head up to the lounge on the 52nd floor for evening drinks (careful, they're strong!) and watch the sun set over Boston.
  • Get a corner seat, makes for the best view. Get the Pork Chop w/caramelized apples with mac and cheese, it was out of this world. The Crme brle was the awesome. One of the best meals I've ever had.
  • Great jazz every night. "It's beautiful to take a chance, and if you fall you fall, and I'm thinking I wouldn't mind at all."
  • In 1858, Oliver Wendall Holmes referred to the Massachusetts State House Building as the Hub of the Solar System. Bostonians liked the sound of that so the nickname, with minor modifications, stuck.
  • Make sure you ask for a window seat. It's much better and definitely worth the extra wait.
  • Chocolate lava cake dessert is only $10. Great value for the view
  • Great place to take special people
  • The view from the north and east sides are probably the best; if you're there earlier enough, ask for a table on one of those sides.
  • Window seat is the way to go
  • Come for the atmosphere, view, and live jazz.
  • The greatest view in Boston
  • 52
  • Don't be sarcastic about the $24/person minimum, they won't get it and will break down the prices for you. Still, lovely place.
  • They have a great Red Zinfandel by the glass at a great price: Renwood 2011 California Zin $9.00 a glass
  • If you are a tourist make sure you bring photo ID with DOB. As a 37 yr old, I was ID checked for the first time in 20 years. My parter didn't have a passport and was refused service.
  • Fabulous view. Cheesy interior decor 80s flashbacks. Average drinks. View makes up for everything though
