INGREDIENTS

  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  • 1/4 pound smoked turkey kielbasa, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1/4 pound fully cooked boneless ham, cubed
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 celery rib, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 15-ounce can no-salt-added white kidney or cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 14 1/2-ounce can no-salt-added diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

DIRECTIONS

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add kielbasa, ham, carrots, celery and onion; cook and stir until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer.

Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 4-5 minutes or until heated through

Shows the dish being served over rice in the photo - no mention of rice in the recipe....?

The dish appears have an ingredient not included in the recipe. It looks like rice or some type of pasta is the base for the dish in the picture. What is up with that?
