Foursquare Tips

  • Get your goods at Crosby's before getting here. Long walk from parking/train, but it's well worth it. One of the best beaches on the North Shore!
  • It is harder to get the sand to sing than you might think
  • Park at the harbor there are free spots and then walk to the beach it's a nice walk and it saves the ridiculous $25 charge for parking
  • Lovely views!
  • If you're not a resident the parking charge is $25.00 so park in town and walk the 1/2-3/4 miles to the beach. It's a lovely walk.
  • The view, the walk, the water, the peace.
  • Beauty and singing sand, gorgeous vistas
  • Singing beach is great! Come early in the morning to get prime seating and some quiet time.
  • It is a beautiful place so fresh. Parked back at the harbor if you are not a resident they charge ridiculous prices at the beach parking lot
  • it's a clean and beautiful beach
  • Great place to walk
  • Pleasant promenade!!
  • The water is so clear!
  • Dog season is over :(
  • There are 40 non-resident, all day parking spots, which can sell out rather quickly. You can sometimes park at the train station, or the nearby park parking lot. Street parking has a 2 hour limit
  • Best in fall when you can walk your dog
  • This beach has sand that sings if you scuff or shuffle your bare feet with sufficient force through the sand when its dry. There is a $5 walk-on fee to access the beach on the weekends.
  • Make sure you shuffle your feet on singing beach and make the sand sing :) Happiness.
  • If you dont like this. Beach at night or during the day, then you were clearly raised wrong. Just wished it was longer.
  • Walk-on Fee: $5. Parking Fee: $25. Season Pass Fee: $12.50. Tip: AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
