Shake Shack Westbury
Westbury NY 11530
Slowly, Danny Meyer's Shake Shack is changing the landscape of the burger world. It started in Madison Square Park in 2001, with a hot dog cart created by Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group to support the Madison Square Park Conservancy's first art installation. Fans of the cart lined up for three summers until USHG won the bid to open a permanent park kiosk. Then the real fun (and lines) started. The "roadside burger joint" started serving incredibly juicy burgers on potato rolls and rich, thick, creamy custards with mix-ins (concretes), and the best Chicago-style hot dog outside the Windy City. It took until 2007 for the Shack to stay open through winter, but it's since become a New York institution — and spread beyond its borders, immediately ranking among those locales best burgers. Menu additions, mash-ups, and location-specific items have followed at newly launched Shacks in New York, Connecticut, Florida, D.C., Philadelphia, the Middle East, and now London. Location specific items at the Westbury Shake Shack include Westberry, Malt Whitman, and Old Country Rocky Road concretes. — Arthur Bovino, 11/20/2012

The burgers really are good here. A bit pricy though.
Nice burger but the cheese fries so bad (not a proper melted cheese and the fries were kind of old)
Service is above & beyond. Manager said my Concrete looked 'too melted' and made me a new one gratis so I could enjoy it 'the way it was meant to be eaten'. The Smokeshack was incredible as well.
Very good burger joint!!!
The Shroom Burger is delicious! The fries are amazing too. Employees are super friendly...if I don't feel like cooking this is the 1st place I think of.to go!
Shack burger is kinda nice, but shroom burger seems weird to me.
Great meal with my son. Big portions and great cheese fries. No wait at 730pm on a wednesday.
Want and excellent burger and old fashion milkshake!! OMG!! Delicious!!
The smokeshack is awesome!!
Everybody rants how gr8 the burgers are so i took my family there. We all ordered cheeseburgers, which were good, until we found hard "rock-like" pebbles which apear to be cartilage in all our burgers
Crazy lines but unlike the city, you get to wait inside.
This place needs to get a little less popular on Long Island. The line is way too long. In Miami and DC you can just walk in and out.
Your taste buds will orgasm.
Get here before noon and still wait in line, no changes from Madison park, which is like a tradition
Whatever you are in the mood for. Want a hot dog. They rock. Want a burger. Even better. Ice cream drinks. They even got your dog covered.
Black and white with malt
Be prepared to wait in line.
Come here if you like a expencive meal
Finally one on Long Island
