Shake Shack Miami Beach
Miami Beach FL 33139

Slowly, Danny Meyer's Shake Shack is changing the landscape of the burger world. It started in Madison Square Park in 2001, with a hot dog cart created by Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group to support the Madison Square Park Conservancy's first art installation. Fans of the cart lined up for three summers until USHG won the bid to open a permanent park kiosk. Then the real fun (and lines) started. The "roadside burger joint" started serving incredibly juicy burgers on potato rolls and rich, thick, creamy custards with mix-ins (concretes), and the best Chicago-style hot dog outside the Windy City. It took until 2007 for the Shack to stay open through winter, but it's since become a New York institution — and spread beyond its borders, immediately ranking among those locales best burgers. Menu additions, mash-ups, and location-specific items have followed at newly launched Shacks in New York, Connecticut, Florida, D.C., Philadelphia, the Middle East, and now London. Location specific items at the South Beach Shake Shack include Key Lime Pie Oh My, Shark Attack, and Vice Crispy Treat concretes. — Arthur Bovino, 11/20/2012

We can't get enough of Shake Shack's tasty burgers, yummy cheese fries, and sweet concretes. You can never go wrong with a Shack Burger.
Find cooked-to-order Black Angus burgers (there’s also a vegetarian ’shroom option), loaded hot dogs, and so-thick-they’re-called-“concrete” vanilla custard milkshakes (official opening is June 22).
The offshoot of the same-named NYC Danny Meyer joint, which boasts cult-like acolytes who endure two-hour-plus waits for its burgers.
Why aren't you closer to me? That's OK, this place is well worth the drive. And that Key Lime Concrete is unreal.
If you are Chicago Style hot dog connoisseur their "Shake-cago Dog" comes close (they do use Vienna Beef dogs & poppy seed buns), but not quite there. However, great place & good food for everyone.
$4.75 buys you a single Shack burger, topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese and Shack sauce. Since they're small, they're just the right size.
Go for the cheese fries!
