Shake Shack Coral Gables
Coral Gables FL 33146
Slowly, Danny Meyer's Shake Shack is changing the landscape of the burger world. It started in Madison Square Park in 2001, with a hot dog cart created by Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group to support the Madison Square Park Conservancy's first art installation. Fans of the cart lined up for three summers until USHG won the bid to open a permanent park kiosk. Then the real fun (and lines) started. The "roadside burger joint" started serving incredibly juicy burgers on potato rolls and rich, thick, creamy custards with mix-ins (concretes), and the best Chicago-style hot dog outside the Windy City. It took until 2007 for the Shack to stay open through winter, but it's since become a New York institution — and spread beyond its borders, immediately ranking among those locales best burgers. Menu additions, mash-ups, and location-specific items have followed at newly launched Shacks in New York, Connecticut, Florida, D.C., Philadelphia, the Middle East, and now London. Location specific items at the Coral Gables Shake Shack include Cookie Cubana, The "U" Malt, Coral Crisp, and Key Lime Pie oh My concretes. — Arthur Bovino, 11/20/2012

Greasy, overpriced, and disappointing.
Hamburgers are great
Key lime pie oh my. Order it now. Thank me later.
The best in Miami ♥ _ ♥
Kind of draws an especially obnoxious crowd. Coral Gables, who'd have thunk it.
Try the SmokeSchak, it's hot!
Smoke Shack. Best burger I had in mi life!
Not impressed by the food or shake. The cost of the food was not worth it either. Very disappointed.
Request burger well done
Looks good, burger & hot dog yummy :-)
Good option for vegetarians. 'Shroom burger. Very good.
Terrible parking but love the express lane for cold items only. Must try the malted vanilla shake...yum!
The burgers are good, but waaaaayyyy overhyped. Don't believe it, said Chuck D.
The shroom burger <3 if its made fresh the cheese melts right out but will burn your mouth! & the fries are like crack
Parking wars. Seating for 150, parking for 15.
The shackstack is everything you want in a burger!
Try the Cookie Cubana. Its unbelievable.
Try the smoky Shack-cago dog-- a fulfilling carrier for relish and celery salt. The new U Malt "concrete" dessert doesn't have any discernible malt notes, but its deep chocolate flavor is satisfying:
They have a lovely dog menu, so I brought my dog to enjoy!! Look at the 7th picture of the place!
