Foursquare Tips

  • Kiefer, a bartender here, is the best in all the land. If you have the pleasure of ordering a drink from him, tell him what you like, and he will execute to the Nth degree. He has a mustache.
  • Great lounge. Amazing cocktails. Good dj on Thursday nights. And oyster happy hours. This is a great spot to chill on a weeknight.
  • The Lavender Piscine @selrrose is the most delicious beverage on this planet. Order it. Twice.
  • New cocktail/oyster bar from team behind Home Sweet Home. The Fresh Widow (spiced rye whiskey, coconut syrup, pineapple, bitters) is superb!
  • if it's nice out, grab an outside table, bask in the moonlight and gentle manhattan breeze, and order some oysters and wine.
  • Order a cocktail (or three) from one of the best lists in the city! The Margarita Pamplemousse and the Fresh Widow are our favorites! And who doesnt love $1 Oyster Happy Hours everyday from 5-7!
  • A Lavendar Piscine and a dark corner in the front for sipping are all you need for delightful conversation.
  • Impressed with the atmosphere and drinks. Highly recommended. I went with friends but this would also be a good date spot.
  • Imaginative cocktails and oysters as well as not too many crowding the place, especially during the week.
  • Maison de Verre: Cognac, lemon, herbs, de provence-syrup, kummel, egg white.
  • awesome cocktails
  • Open as cafe during day then Bar on evening. I came here both timing. And I really like music here, during the day 90's alternative then at night in bar, there is a DJ with all interesting people.
  • A bit overpriced, but the shared plates are actually substantial size portions and a few between several people are enough to make a delicious meal.
  • Spacious cocktail bar that serves food late night
  • Quality cocktails. If you put your name on the list at Attaboy come here to kill time while waiting.
  • Super-quiet, small place to take a second before pounding the pavement of the Bowery/Lower East Side.
  • Get the fresh burrata with heirloom tomatoes. Also, the Aval french cider is fabulous.
  • Charming neighborhood craft cocktail bar - a good option if you're in the area, but nothing worth traveling across town for. Large space so good for big groups.
  • Wanky hipster EVERYWHERE
  • Devil eggs are not bad. Don't come hungry though. Great place to hang out if you're into specialty cocktails. Oysters were just average.
