Foursquare Tips

  • For the ultimate in nouveau southern-fried dining, try the Tennessee fried chicken dinner here on Tuesday nights. Featured in Where to Eat 2011!
  • Meals include crispy Mississippi catfish, fried bologna sandwiches & pimento cheese, leading up to the main event with options like braised pork belly, shrimp & grits & chicken & dumplings.
  • Seersucker walks a perfect line between Southern comfort food and clean, modern fare. Their chicken and dumpling soup is heaven in a bowl.
  • Fried chicken is a must, but don't sleep on those ricotta dumplings, they're delish!
  • Chili for breakfast? Hell yes! If they've got that special, put it in your belly. Also, don't sleep on their biscuits, breakfast tacos & the pimento cheese grits. All good stuff on this brunch menu.
  • The motherfucking mac and cheese tastes like an epiphany.
  • Go splitty splitty with a pal on the shrimp grits and the pork chop. Both are incredible, great dishes to share.
  • pork chop FTW
  • With produce from the farmer's market across the street, the dishes at Seersucker are always fresh. Brunch never disappoints and is cheaper than dinner.
  • Wow, the pimento cheese grits. Just wow. Ask nice to have them as a side at brunch.
  • Things that come to mind when you hear "seersucker": summer suits, derby parties, Southern panache. Also coming to mind: crispy pig's foot, pan-roasted quail, pork belly with pinto beans. YUM!
  • Vintage 80s record covers in the W. C. I can't wax poetic enough about this joint, it's the best
  • New weekend lunch special: Seersucker chili. Cayuga Organics kidney beans, Hudson Valley grassfed beef, New York State cheddar, cornbread crumble and a sunnyside-up fried egg.
  • The fried chicken is absolutely amazing. And do not pass up the biscuits to start. Aesthetically the restaurant is great as well.
  • Juleps done right.
  • The fried chicken is boneless, perfectly cooked, and really out of this world yummy.
  • Get the baked pimento cheese grits and poached egg for brunch. So good they inspired my first Foursquare tip.
  • Pork chop is simple but tasty. Fresh...
  • Oh... The Southern Fried Chicken is like none other we have ever had... And I am a Louisiana frequenter. Do the Chicken. Oh soooo good!!
