Foursquare Tips

  • A Toronto institution, Scaramouche offers one of the city's best views. Try the passion fruit bavarois and keep off the beaten path at least a little.
  • Foie gras is fantastic as is the venison
  • Fantastic ambiance! View was great! Food was heavenly!! dessert was to die for!! Well worth every penny! Made our anniversary perfect! :)
  • Having trouble ordering desert? Order this first!
  • Best romantic restaurant in town. Great food, great wine and fantastic view of the toronto skyline (I'd say better than Panoramas)
  • Three words...coconut cream pie.
  • Try the Lobsterlicious! - Amazing grilled lobster in a coconut broth!
  • You obviously enjoy excellent food. Chef Michael Stadtlnder will be serving up his sumptuous, local and organic menu at the @EarthDayCanada Gala on June 6th at The Drake http://bit.ly/KSVhVK
  • Fresh oysters were fantastic! Make sure to try them out
  • Fois Gras is great but is way too much for one person. The view is spectacular for the location sit next to the window in the restaurant.
  • The pasta is amazing
  • The duck pate, and cod dishes were delicious. Awesome romantic spot in midtown. Although there is no seating on the patio, take your drink outside, and enjoy the amazing view of the Toronto skyline.
  • Superb calamari
  • Pasta flavor is wonderful, but way overcooked. Tartar is a bit dry
  • Has a geriatric feel that is not so hip - also dingy and dank.
  • Perfect service in a high end club like atmosphere. Incredible foie gras, lobster, tuna tartare. Oysters rock and the cocktails perfect. A must go to.
  • Fans of rosy roasted duck breast anchor a plate with farro, pickled cherries, chanterelle mushrooms, and dollops of pistachio-garlic sauce.
  • Scaramouche has the best food I've ha anywhere.. Toronto or otherwise. And it's not as expensive as people think. Go!
  • The steak tartare and lobster bisque.
  • Get the lamb chops or the Sea Bass. Amazing! Best coconut cream pie I've ever had.
