Foursquare Tips

  • Most fantastic avor: Honey Balsamic Strawberry with Cracked Pepper. Whoa!
  • Skip to the register for pints and coffee orders.
  • Salt & Straw wins over vanilla palates with varieties like dandelion sorbet with spring flowers and Arbequina olive oil. Got a more timid tongue? Cinnamon snickerdoodle should please.
  • Skip the crazy line, walk to the back and you can buy a pint from the freezer for $8 and $1 waffle cones a la carte. I was in and out in 4 mins.
  • Honey lavender. Pear with blue cheese. Strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper. Say hello to the "Voodoo Doughnuts of ice cream" in Portland. Absolutely divine!
  • Try the ice cream!
  • This place lived up to the hype. Make sure to get the homemade waffle one I've ever had.
  • Do miss it, it's one of a kind
  • This place is amazing. Don't be afraid to ask for tastings, they are super nice about it!
  • Two scoops are about a half pint serving. You can split a single scoop into two flavors for variety.
  • Use the restroom, its like a history museum in there with old film shipping canisters from when the place was a theatre. Super cool.
  • They make the waffle cones fresh here. They are amazing!!
  • Unique flavor creations. A must try
  • Skip the huge queue, and grab the same ice cream in pint cartoons from the fridge in the back for $8. Add a $1 cone and you are golden.
  • Almond brittle & salted chocolate ganache... So. Good.
  • Awesome ice cream shop. It doesn't matter when you go because there's a line at all times of day, but it's oh so worth it. Definitely try the strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper!
  • Sea Salt ice cream was wonderful.
  • Pear and blue cheese! Freckled chocolate! Ahhh, soo good.
  • To avoid a long wait for ice cream (worth it though), go on a weekday around 3 in the afternoon. Their pastries and baked goods are amazing too.
  • Almond brittle, cinnamon snickerdoodle, and banana with salted carmel and nuts are amazing!! :)
