Foursquare Tips

  • Aside from their Indian-style burger and a couple other fusion dishes, it's really just regular Indian food in small portions in a hip environment. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  • The sevpuri chaat is a fun little bite sized appetizer with a pomegranate mint chutney to start your meal. Not very filling, but worth the crunchy six bites.
  • A total day-ender. Plan for a several hour nap after.
  • happy hour pretty damn good
  • Fave: Tumeric naan, masala short ribs, pakora; skip: mushroom curry
  • Very approachable Indian food. With the wraps, flat breads and burgers, Akasha has made a cross between Indian flavors and American taste.
  • Good ambience , choice of food is very less compared to the authentic Indian restaurants . Was bit pricey and the fries were oily .
  • The ginger beer! And every single dish is amazing!
  • Fantastic take on some classic Indian dishes ..... Some innovative drinks with Indian spices. Overall really impressed with creativity. Ask for the Jalapeo pickle along with other chutneys.
  • Pankoras, chickpea salad and potatoes were yum. Definitely coming back to try more.
  • Amazing Indian food w/ a California flair. Everything is fresh and authentic. We loved it
  • The apps were good. The Main Courses average. Even the rice was rather bland. Lot of more authentic and flavorful Indian food in the area.
  • Indian restaurant, that if you haven't eating any Indian food in your life avoid it coz they just have this.
