  • Entry is free. There are so many sections to the Botanic Gardens and it is just beautiful! This is a great spot for a picnic.
  • Great spot for a stroll - on the edge of the city with harbour views
  • Come see the Sakura blooming around mid-September! Bring a camera!
  • TRAVEL FACT: Founded in 1816, the Royal Botanic Gardens was established as the oldest scientific institution in Australia.
  • Amble over to the Palace Garden Gate to admire the light installation inspired by Lady Macquarie's love of horticulture. Careful though, the water is too shallow for diving.
