Used to love this place, nice atmosphere, terrific live jazz, decent food. Spent thousands here, and helped popularize the place. Not so much anymore. Menu and food prep changes, and apparent arrogance of the management has changed our view. When a clumsy bartender dumps a full glass of red wine onto your khaki slacks, you would sort of expect the house to comp an entree, even a bottle of wine, or at least a free glass. Nope. Management's response is "oh, Tide will get that out. whaddya want, us to pay your dry cleaning bill?" Surprising, disappointing, almost amateur hour attitude toward an embarrassing situation. Haven't been back lately, and have found some new places that appear to better appreciate their loyal customers.
