If you've ever wondered what it'd be like to smoke one of the top five most expensive cigars in the world, now is your chance. The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch has partnered with Fumar Cigars to offer His Majesty’s Reserve Gurkha at the their speakeasy lounge. The rare and special cigars sell for $2,000 a cigar and are made in the Dominican Republic.

Why so expensive? To start, the blend is comprised of an 18-year Connecticut Maduro wrapper along and 12-year-old Dominican binder and fillers. After the aged tobacco is rolled into the cigar, a full shot of 40-year-old Louis XIII Remy Martin Cognac is injected into each of the smokes. Rihanna would be so proud.
Finally, it is encased in a glass tube and sealed with rich green wax. Guests of the Ritz can enjoy the cigar at the private indoor/outdoor Bachelors Lounge, exclusive to Founders Club members and hotel guests. Founders Club members also have some pretty smokin’ perks as well. Members have exclusive access to the Bachelors Lounge Cigar Concierge, beverage experts, and receive a humidor personally engraved for display in the cigar cave.

“We are very fortunate to have such a famous and rare cigar in our exclusive selection,” says Alexandra Kaplan, Bachelors Lounge Concierge. “300 boxes were made in 1999 and Bachelors Lounge has been given the privilege to hold the last of the original blend.”
The lounge also boasts a hookah experience and a new cocktail menu featuring to the Vaportini, the hotel’s twist on the classic martini. You’ll basically be drinking the alcohol vapor through a straw. His Majesty’s Reserve cigar is available now, but with a limited number available, you may want to venture over to Colorado soon.
