Foursquare Tips

  • Great space. Love the style and the staff is very friendly!
  • Awesome lighting in the bathroom, very Casablanca. Tacos and margaritas good, also. #hereslookingatyoukid #selfie #steak #frozenmarg
  • Way better than El Centro. #yum
  • So yummy! Walk in and order with the cooks (it's a little bizarre). Loved the steak and fish tacos. Salsas are spicy but great.
  • It's all about the chorizo.
  • The real way to eat the tacos: Pull out the bottom tortilla, and fork half the toppings over to create a second, manageable taco.
  • Contrary to a September 2013 review today. They do accept American Express. I used mine there today. I had fish tostadas and they were outstanding! I will be back!
  • Amazing tacos!
  • Great place, staff was very nice and the decor well done you feel like you are in a 1960's Mexican dive but the food is 4 star.
  • Taco taco, taco!
  • Chicken quesadilla with jalapeos and red salsa was a winner.
  • The egg & green chile taco and fish taco were both excellent, as we're the yuca fries! Ordering process re: toppings is slow however and needs to be rethought.
  • Had a steak quesadilla. It was good, but nothing special. The ordering process is weird.
  • Ordering a quesadilla is a torturous process. Stick with the tacos.
  • The Carnitas tacos are great, but don't bother with iced tea. All you'll get is a 12-oz cup jam packed with ice, and absolutely no refills allowed.
  • Try the carnitas tacos (or breakfast tacos on the weekend)
  • Amazing place to have a margarita & taco! Just sit next to fountain and recall your last trip to Mexico. ;)
  • refried bean taco is the sleeper choice. beans are served piping and toppings are super fresh.
  • These are the best breakfast tacos in DC. No contest.
  • Yuca fries are really good. If I were you, I'd get those as opposed to the guacomole. The Egg and Green Chile Taco is really good as well!
