  • Dining al fresco gets the "Keep Austin Weird" treatment at South Austin Trailer Park and Eatery. But it's more than a gimmick. The food's really good here; that's why you often have to stand in line.
  • Torchy's Tacos and Holy Cacao are groovy places to eat and hang out with friends.
  • Great atmosphere. Good for any kind of weather because they have covered area and heaters! Dogs welcomed.
  • Try the Duck Melt - Duck meatloaf, thin slice of Harvarti cheese and strawberry perserves on crisp french bread. A perfect bite of trailer goodness.
  • Salt & Straw made its way from Portland to deliver some of the country's best ice cream. Don't pass up the chance to have it.
  • Get there early to avoid the lines

  • Make sure to get a cake ball at Holy Cacao to go with your delicious taco from Torchy's. The cake balls sell out fast, get there earlier than later.
  • Of you're in Austin and you love tacos. This is the place to go! They also serve dublin dr pepper on tap; that in itself is awesome.
